In this blog, I discuss applications of data science in the insurance industry.

I am a statistician and fully qualified actuary with 20 years of experience. My expertise covers a range of actuarial topics, data science and their strategic application in insurance companies.

I have previously worked for large consultancy firms and insurance multinationals in a variety of roles.  I have helped companies of all sizes, ranging from small start ups to very large organisations in insurance, banking, fund management and consulting in Europe, Asia and the US. In my current role, I am Head of Actuarial and Analytics at Grant Thornton Ireland.
